We could not be prouder of our BNI group President. Not only is he so much fun to work alongside, but he also recently got written up in Voyager Austin as a Hidden Gem!
In the article Joshua is interviewed about his Non-Profit, Joshua’s Stage:
Joshua’s Stage is a premier enrichment program for people with special needs ages three to adults, offering after-school programs, camps, workshops, and individual enrichment programs in theater arts, improv, arts and crafts, music, dance, photography, create-a-story, and showcase. Participants in the programs have the opportunity to express their creativity, boost their self-esteem, and develop their social skills in a warm and welcoming environment.
Someone recently said to Joshua, “Wow, so you put kids with autism, ADD/ADHD, Down syndrome, and other special needs in one room and do stuff with them?” That’s exactly what we do! We employ The Creative Outlet Method, which includes positive behavior supports, so that our team can concentrate on participants’ positive behaviors while engaging in activities.
